Our Daughter got married in 2013. We were on a tight budget, so we made almost everything décor wise. We used our parent's farm and had an outside wedding, so the venue was free. We built signs, dance floor, cake stand, arch, and centerpieces. We received so many compliments that we decided we could sell things like this on the web. We were more familiar with E-Bay in the past so we started there. We opened up our Etsy Store in 2013, but we didn't have many items and too many demands on us with our careers at the time to focus on building items. We put our shop on vacation mode from 2013-2015 (with the exception of selling stuff during Christmas last year).
Fast Forward to September 2015, we really started learning about Etsy and the process of becoming successful and really becoming a seller. We planned, designed, and built our items for a month and REALLY launched in October 2015. My husband was able to quit his job and work full-time for the business in January 2016!
We love using wood and building quality pieces. We take pride in building and creating unique works of art. It is an honor to have something we create displayed in someone's home. We don't take that lightly and make sure we are proud of each piece that ships out.
We hope you are just as happy as we are with your purchase from Country Corner Goods.
